such a horrible event and u say its nothing! the people that owned that house got nothing! That was a million + dollar house and they maybe got 100,000 for it! You might have great insurance…but they will NOT cover you when something like that happens to you! My friends’ grandma’s house..her basement collapsed and the insurance said that the earth moved and that it wasnt flooding…yes the earth moved..BECAUSE OF THE WATER AND THE FLOODING! THIS IS SOMETHING! ITS NOT NOTHING.

I live in Reedsburg too, but how can you say this is nothing? The entire lake is gone and the Dells is losing so much money this summer because of it. With the lake draining out, loss of business and houses being swept away… that is much more than us losing a whole street…

1) Rising interest rates
2) Prices have inflated beyond what people are willing to pay
3) Don't necessarily believe the news, their job is to keep peoples attention. Bad news sells more than good news.

im sure theres a catch..i doubt you'll get a house for $300…if that were the case all these houses in foreclosure would be sold..

Google a local appraiser and ask him/her for a "pencil" search. Some appraisers won't want to do it. Just go down the list and find one that will. I called to find out about a friends house today. Took me 3 numbers.
